Hello, my name is Theresa and I offer a warm, safe and compassionate space where you can feel heard. Together, we can explore what is on your mind so you can begin to understand and accept what is going on for you. You may feel ‘stuck’ in a current situation, unable to make a decision about what to do, or feel overwhelmed.
I believe that you have the inner resources to get through even the most difficult of times, in a way that is right for you. However, sometimes life can feel overwhelming and you may need some help and support in getting there. I offer a relaxed and professional place where you are able to be honest about your thoughts and feelings, free of judgement and with confidentiality at the heart of our sessions.
I work with people experiencing a wide range of life issues and I have a special interest in fertility counselling. I am a member of the British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA). I am very aware of the emotional, physical, relationship and financial difficulties that are often felt when experiencing infertility. I can offer support if you are considering treatment, currently in treatment or wondering whether to end treatment.
Due to the current Covid-19 situation, I am offering sessions online or over the telephone.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
