About us
The Village Clinic is a private psychotherapy practice offering high-quality, relational therapy at accessible rates. All our therapists are registered with recognised professional bodies and skilled in delivering personalised, evidence-informed care.
We specialise in integrative psychotherapy to help you make sense of what’s troubling you and support you in moving forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Whether you're struggling with anxiety, low mood, self-esteem issues, burnout, relationship challenges, bereavement, trauma, or a general sense of being stuck, we offer a safe, respectful space to explore what matters.
We’re committed to offering thoughtful, ethical, and effective therapy that supports real, lasting growth. Our approach is grounded in the belief that real change happens in genuine, human relationships.
While most of our work is longer term, we also offer shorter-term therapy where appropriate, depending on your needs and goals.
Sessions are available both in-person and online to suit your needs.

Training, qualifications & experience
We are an organisational member with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP, no 00276831). All our therapists are registered with a professional body and follow their organisational Ethical Framework. This means that we meet strict professional standards (BACP, UKCP, BPS, COSRT, NCPS).
Our integrative relational approach combines psychodynamic theory with evidence-based models following National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) guidelines, drawing on frameworks like Attachment theory, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and Trauma-informed body-based practices to offer therapy that is flexible, responsive, and attuned to each client’s unique needs.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
