About us

The Village Orchard East CIC is a creative therapies centre in the heart of Norwich . Our mission is to work collaboratively with other independent creative therapists and psychological practitioners to provide a diverse range of therapeutic interventions under one roof that enhance the emotional and psychological wellbeing of individuals and families living in East Anglia.

We believe in the potential for change by providing a client centred, confidential therapeutic space in which children, adults and families are supported to explore the challenges in their lives and find their inner resources and resilience to move forward. The Village Orchard East CIC also believes in shared experiences and social connectedness and therefore seeks to promote opportunities for therapeutic groups and community based experiences.

Training, qualifications & experience

All practitioners are HCPC registered as well as with their individual governing bodies, that include BAAT, BADth and BAPT. We have a range of experience and qualifications, enabling us to offer creative therapies and psychological interventions to children, young people, adults and families who are experiencing a range of difficulties.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

Health and Care Professions Council

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

We have verified that at least one professional at this organisation is registered with the relevant professional body.
