About us

You are coming to us because you want a clear understanding and a thorough analysis of what you are experiencing and how to treat the issues dynamically and successfully; regardless of how complex the issues. You want to be treated fairly, without judgement; directly, and with considerable intelligence by someone with considerable life skills, training & experience.

You would like to be able to quickly and easily form a strong relationship with your therapist that provides safety, confidentiality, trust and most of all a sense of hope. You want your therapist to be very well informed academically, with considerable experience in being able to explain the theory and how it applies to you. We also work with couples and families.

I offer free introductory telephone consultations with no obligation. Insured with Towergate and BACP registered.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a first-class honours degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Kent University where I also studied Freudian Studies under Professor Janet Sayers. I have a certificate in psychology and a diploma in therapeutic counselling. Currently, I am working towards a Masters degree at Birkbeck University in Psychoanalytic Studies under Professor Stephen Frosh.

Previous I served 19 years as a police officer across two forces, qualifying as an inspector. I specialised in Intelligence research and development, conflict management and organisational and strategy change. I worked with the Government. I also worked for local government as a Senior Strategy Improvements Officer (Canterbury CC), and as a Consultant to Public Health at Medway Council. I have lectured in Counselling at Ashford College. I also deliver training to managers on managing mental health.
