I am fully and professionally qualified with many years experience in counselling. I provide a safe, confidential place for you to talk openly about whatever is troubling you. I don't make judgements, but will support you in reaching a happier place.

If you do decide to contact me, we will agree a convenient time for our first session. Then you can tell me as little or as much as you want on that day, and we will take it from there. We will talk and work together as equals, so please do not be put off if you find the idea of counselling a bit daunting at first.

I have a private, comfortable, warm and airy counselling room offering a quiet safe space to talk. Take time to step away from everyday stresses to a calm place allowing you to think, feel, and talk in peace.

What is my therapy style?
I use an integrative approach which means I combine a range of counselling therapies tailoring them for each individual client.
How can counselling help me?
Maybe you will want to look back at your life to gain insight into what has happened so far, and why you are feeling as you do. Or you might want to talk about what is happening now and consider options for acceptance or change so that you can look forward to a happier future. If you wish, we can also look ahead to discover how you would like your life to be and work towards that.
We will discuss how we work together so that our sessions suit your individual needs.

I am committed to keeping my knowledge up to date and continue with my professional training and development. I have attended numerous post qualification courses to this end.
I adhere to the ethical guidelines and other requirements of my professional association, the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).This is important as it provides reassurance to clients that the confidential service I provide stays within tight professional boundaries so that you have complete peace of mind.

I will consider a reduced fee for those who genuinely need it, at my complete discretion.
Sessions last 50 minutes.
I suffered from anxiety from my early twenties. With some challenging life events to deal with, I eventually reached out to a counsellor. Together we worked through my troubles and with her help I started to put myself back together. After some time I took a redundancy package from my employer and spent the money obtaining a counselling qualification. That was twelve years ago. I have been seeing clients for about 8. I have plenty of life experience to offer and the qualification to back it up.
