About me

Are you feeling paralysed by anxiety and the uncertainty of your future? Perhaps something significant has happened recently that’s turned your world upside down, leaving you questioning your life?

Maybe you’re struggling with a relationship, worried that time is running out to have children, or you feel like your career hasn’t turned out the way you imagined.

It’s easy to look around and think, “Everyone else seems to have it together - why don’t I?”

These thoughts are weighing heavily on you, leaving you feeling defeated and like time is slipping away.

If this sounds like you, therapy can help you regain control, make changes in your life and find the happiness you deserve.

I help clients work through:

  • Feeling frustrated with your career – perhaps you have been made redundant or didn’t get the promotion you should have, leaving you feeling devastated.
  • Relationship challenges - whether you’re unhappy in your relationship or dealing with a difficult breakup, this is taking over your life and you want to gain back control and feel better.
  • Fears about missing your chance to have children - feeling panicked that time is running out to start a family.

Making meaningful changes doesn’t have to be a lonely, overwhelming process. With just an hour a week of counselling, you can work on feeling more at peace with where you are now, as well as carving your concrete path for the future, all whilst having the convenience of sessions that fit your schedule.

How I can help

Therapy can help you to feel better by:

  • Talking things through without fear of judgement – so that you can finally feel listened to and talk about the sense of fear and dread that is crippling you. You can develop coping strategies to deal with those painful feelings and make a difference to your life straight away.
  • Make changes to your daily life – together we'll identify small, manageable changes in your daily routine, like setting boundaries around your time. These can immediately reduce your stress and bring a sense of control back to your life.
  • Becoming aware of how your mind and body work together – and why you get those overwhelming physical symptoms, like a racing heart or panic attacks. This will help you to learn why your body reacts the way it does to anxiety, and what you can do about it, finally regaining control back over your body rather than being a slave to it.

I started my practice because I know firsthand from working with clients just how overwhelming it feels to be stuck in anxiety, feeling pressured to "get life together" while fearing the unknown.

I’ve been stuck in unfulfilling jobs and relationships myself, so I understand the helplessness and frustration when things don’t go as they should.

Therapy changed all that for me, and now I use my experiences to support clients in taking meaningful steps toward a life they feel good about - I'd love to help you do the same.

Previous clients have told me that therapy enabled them to find solutions so they are no longer fearful of the future, and they’ve felt calmer as a result. They were able to stop their racing thoughts, no longer experience panic attacks and find a clear path for their future, with a good understanding of how to achieve what they want.

So please get in touch to book your free introductory call today, where we can see if we feel we’d work well together. I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
