If you need a non-judgemental place with someone to listen to you without giving advice this is the place!! We can explore together what is bothering you and think through constructive ways to deal with it. If you are anxious we can look at the underlying core emotions that make you feel overwhelmed.
I offer a non-judgemental and deeply empathetic approach. I believe that each client has the inner resources they need to move towards growth and make the changes they desire.
Through my own experience I have found that self-discovery and acceptance are very important to get the best out of life and to deal with life stressors. I work as well with feelings of depression, general and social anxiety.
I charge £50 per session. I offer both short term (one session to six sessions) or longer term (six sessions plus- open ended) depending on your needs. I am fluent in English and Spanish.
I abide by the code of ethics and practice of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a degree in Psychology which gives me insight in people's behaviours, how stress is handled and why some situations affect some people more than others.
The combination of Psychology and Person Centred counselling enables me to understand behaviours and have insight into problematic conduct, aiming to help the client to move towards change and their desired goals with therapy.
I work with Person Centred and other interventions in an integrative approach. I apply the intervention which feels best for my client's needs.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
