About me

Professionally Qualified and Accredited Counsellor with British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)

I believe that everyone who is in emotional pain are capable of making life changes with some help from me to find some peace within. Being an Integrative counsellor I believe you have the resources within yourself to make changes while also possessing your inner resilience, energy and ability to do so.

All relationships can become difficult if our minds are always full of painful thoughts and memories. If we are angry or frustrated it is often a sign of our quality of thinking in that specific moment and we are therefore more likely to operate from that insecure part of ourselves. I believe that this can often leak out in other parts of life such as conflict with significant others; your spouse, family, friends and work colleagues.

My aim is to provide you with understanding, compassion and being non-judgemental. I incorporate the following theories and approaches to best suit your needs: Humanistic counselling, Brief Solution Focused Therapy and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)

List of some areas of counselling I deal with:

Depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, anger management, bereavement, Bullying, domestic abuse, emotional abuse, addiction, Low self-confidence, low self-esteem, employment concerns, financial issues, sexuality, self-harm, suicide.
