About me

I have over 10 years' experience working with adults who are struggling to manage addiction - alcohol, prescribed medication, illicit medication, gambling, sex, food.  I have worked for Addiction NI since 2010.

Whilst I specialise in addiction, I also work with depression, anxiety, loneliness, sexual abuse, suicide, self harm, physical abuse, bereavement, trauma, PTSD, grief, loss, stress, fear, self-loathing, illness, family dysfunction, ADHD, relationships, sexuality, domestic violence, disability, elderly, life-changing illness.

When we feel listened to and are in a safe space, we are more likely to be able to talk about what’s on our mind. Issues can be recent, short-term, long-term, ongoing or lifelong.

Our sessions are tailored to your needs. The first session is used to assess what you might like to get out of counselling. I work integratively, which means that I draw upon several different approaches and tailor them to your needs.

I am happy to offer you an initial free half hour consultation to talk about whether I can support you further to bring about the change in your life that you would like for yourself.
