Teena Shami Relationship and Sex Therapist. MBACP Epsom Sutton Reigate. On-Line
I am experienced Relationship and Psycho-Sexual Therapist and work with couples or individuals who are experiencing difficulties in their relationships that maybe causing anxiety, depression and stress.
In your relationship you may feel ignored and that your opinion does not matter, maybe you and your partner are struggling with intimacy issues or trying to recover from broken trust or betrayal and feeling alone and sad.
Maybe there are sexual difficulties between you that are causing relationship problems and you cannot find the words to explain how you feel. Sometimes sexual tension in a relationship is difficult to face or explain to each other, by not addressing this it may have a knock-on effect on a once happy relationship.
If this is the first time you have looked for therapy or help, you will find during your sessions it’s a good feeling to be heard and to have a non-judgemental space where you can share and be listened to. Together, we can acknowledge and make sense of the issues you are experiencing and explore choices to overcome these difficulties, with positivity and confidence.
Please call or text me. 07596839297 If I'm not available I may be with clients so please leave a message, I will call or text you back then we can briefly discuss what is troubling you and set up an initial appointment.
Or if you may prefer to email, my website www.teenajudycounselling.com has on-line inquiry form.
I have many years’ experience as a qualified Therapist. My primary work is with Relate and I also have my own Private Practice. I am a registered member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and a member of COSRT (College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists) I attend regular supervision for both Relate and for my own private practice.
The sessions we agree to for ongoing counselling are very much up to you, I work on a short-term basis with my clients that is open ended, so you are in control. There are no set number of sessions. What is most important is that you are benefiting from the counselling process no matter how long you attend.
Due to COVID I am only working online now. The benefits to you by having therapy online is, you are in the comfort of your own home, no need for babysitters or worrying about being home on time for them. No going out in the cold or rain and no parking issues. When everything goes back to normal you will have a choice of face to face or to stay online. To find out how on-line therapy works visit my website for more information.

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
