I am a qualified and experienced counsellor working with adolescents and adults. Based within easy access of Harrow, Wembley, Ealing and other surrounding areas, I provide short term as well as long term therapy in various languages.
I provide confidential and a safe space to deal with abuse, emotional stress, depression or anxiety. I am able to relate to people from different backgrounds. My work with my clients is based on my personal and professional values. The skills learnt during my professional training, my personal ethics as well as working with my clients has helped me to become non-judgemental irrespective of the presenting issues or background.
Most of us face crisis, loss, situational dilemmas, confusion, unhappiness, difficulty in relationships or even may be abuse at some stages in our life.
Working together in a safe and non-judgemental space, I might be able to help you to understand your inner self and work with your uncomfortable feelings. The promise is not an instant solution to all your presenting issues or an instant happiness but the goal would be to achieve near enough to live a content life. My aim is to work with my clients is to explore their own strengths, abilities as well to acknowledge the feelings and thoughts they might be going through.
Through talking therapy, I help, encourage and support my clients to face whatever is making them feel low or anxious. I work together with my clients to explore their life experiences. Sometimes, it may get painful and upsetting to talk about certain experiences but by talking about them and getting them out there, things might start making sense and one could move towards recovery by becoming more self-aware, resilient and have a better deeper understanding of
Training, qualifications & experience
Registered member of British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapist.(BACP)
- Diploma in therapeutic counselling - London (Psychodynamic Approach)
This approach enables me to focus on unconscious processes as they are manifested in a person's present behaviour. The goal is self-awareness and understanding of influences of past on present.
- Certificate in CBT – SDS- London
This approach enables me to focus on the idea, that the way we think about situations can affect the way we feel and behave. For example, if you interpret a situation negatively then you might experience negative emotions as a result, and those bad feelings might then lead you to behave in a certain way.
