About me

Counselling & Consulting Sessions for Adults

Whatever difficulty brought you here – it’s important. Let’s talk about it.

I know that sounds pretty cliché for a psychologist to say but talking about it might help you – a lot.

Few things are more natural than wanting to talk about your difficulties with someone who can offer you a safe, confidential space.

I run a private practice in London, offering adult counselling and/or consulting sessions, depending on what you would like to achieve during our work together. My approach changes with every client who walks through the door because I believe therapy must be uniquely tailored. I am very passionate about my work and wholly committed to offering you a confidential platform where your difficulties can be freely expressed. It can be hard to pick up the phone sometimes, but if you are ready, I am always happy to have a chat.

A few examples of what my clients have brought to the consulting room:
- "Anxiety about socialising"
- "Blushing phobia"
- "Depression"
- "Hate my job but I don't know how to leave"
- "Don't know whether to stay in my relationship"
- "I feel like I am crumbling under life's pressures"

School & University Graduate Sessions

I also offer sessions where I help clients uncover and work towards career goals. Some common phrases I hear from clients are:

- "I have a degree but I still can't find a job"
- "My degree doesn't seem to mean anything to employers"
- "I chose not to go to university but I regret it"
- "I have no idea what kind of job to go for"
- "I haven't discovered my ultimate passion"
- "People tell me to do something I love so work becomes a hobby - help!!!"

Please note, my appointments for graduate sessions are currently full. Please visit this space for updates.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
