About me

Fed up of friends or family not listening to you, butting in and giving their personal advice? Wouldn’t it be good to talk to someone who could look at your life from an outside perspective but who has empathy, experience & training and who always stands by you and with you, trying to unravel what works for you? The solution is to find a therapist you can connect with, who helps you to find and value your true self and not the person that others or yourself expect you to be. Please feel free to call/text me, to discuss how I can help you and if you wish, you can book a session where we can figure out what is best for you.

My role is to ascertain how best to support you to find what you need in order to feel calmer, more empowered, have more confidence and feel more fulfilled in your life or to get out of patterns of behaviour that you have had enough of or that you may not even be aware of. Self -awareness and non-judgement are crucial to our relationship, while I will provide a safe, calm and warm space, to create a trusting place of growth and regeneration. A space that is respected and where you are free to share what ever issues might be bothering you or that you are questioning.

My years of work both in a GP practice and privately have helped me to understand the importance of looking and working with someone holistically (looking at mind and body). My years of training in psychoanalytic, person centred and existential theories along with my years of experience and self exploration are all combined to help me to connect to you and to adapt my toolbox of proven successful methods to tailor to your individual needs. I believe the client and our connection is primary and paramount, knowledge and theory are important but are secondary sources.

I specialise in relationship issues/struggles (family or partner), stress and anxiety.

Take the first steps to move towards helping yourself so we can work things out together.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
