About me

Hello my name is Tanya, Thankyou for viewing my profile.

It has been a privilege for me to have worked alongside so many wonderful people over the years, who have overcome difficulties and transformed their lives positively through counselling.

I am an integrative counsellor, meaning that I draw on a range of different approaches to suit each individual. I can provide a safe, confidential and regular space for you to talk and explore difficult thoughts, feelings and physical experiences. Perhaps these are from the past, or the present, often there can be an existing link between the two.

Counselling can help you to gain a better understanding of yourself and your situation. To enable you to overcome what it is that is preventing you from living life more positively and to make informed choices that are right for you as an individual, to improve your life going forward.

A first session is the opportunity for us to meet and to see if you are comfortable working with me going forward. We can explore what it is that you are currently experiencing within life and how it is impacting on you. If you are happy to continue then a second session can be booked.

I offer short term and long term therapy.

Please call or e-mail me today to set up your initial consultation.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
