About me

I work with people as individuals. I use an integrative approach as I do not believe that one style fits all. This means that I will suggest utilising the most appropriate approach according to individual needs and wants. The main approaches I work with, but not limited to, are TA (Transactional Analysis), CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Humanistic Therapies. I am also a qualified Europe and UK EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing) therapist, a treatment with great success for different types of trauma, PTSD, assaults, rape, phobias, illness, injury, as well as including but not limited to, anxiety, self-esteem, stage fright/ performance/ tests and relationship issues. EMDR is recommended for the treatment of PTSD in national and international guidelines including NICE (National Institute of Clinical Excellence) and WHO (World Health Organisation). I am also trained in EMDR Feeling State Addiction Protocol, which works by targeting the positive association created between feeling and addiction/ behaviour.

I work with a range of issues (including but not limited to; anxiety, depression, phobias, OCD, relationships, addictions, family concerns, workplace issues, stress) please see below for all areas. Sometimes people may struggle to understand why they feel the way they do, and counselling can help to ascertain what is happening, and why, enabling you to move towards a healthier mindset and general wellbeing. Others may have very clear ideas about the cause of, or presenting problem they wish to seek some help and guidance for. I will work with you in a completely non-judgemental and empathic way to help you achieve your goal/s.

The sessions are provided in a safe and confidential environment whereby you can feel at ease to talk freely. As a therapist I will not tell you what to do, but will help guide you towards self discovery. We will work together.

I am a registered provider with multiple insurance companies, please enquire to check.

I provide clinical supervision- please enquire with your requirements.
