About me

Hello,

My name is Tamasin and I offer counselling services online via Zoom.

I offer confidential counselling services, mainly person centred and also using CBT techniques where I feel it might be useful.

Listening, understanding and helping you to come to terms with any life events which you might want to talk about. Or you might want to look at issues in your personal relationships which you are finding challenging. How you use counselling is entirely your choice, you can use it purely to have someone to offload to, someone who is able to listen to what you are saying, or you can use counselling to look at your own relating patterns, your life experience and work through any issues that have come up.

Working together, our sessions can encourage personal growth and self-development, leading to an increase in self-awareness which often brings feelings of empowerment and generally, feeling better.

If you have any questions at all, please do get in touch and I will do my best to answer any questions you may have.

Thanks.

Tamasin.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • Five years of training in Counselling (starting 2004)
  • Basic Counselling Skills (1yr)
  • Intermediate Counselling (1yr)
  • Foundation Counselling (1yr)
  • Two-year Diploma in Integrative Counselling
  • Degree with the Open University in Psychology and Literature.

There are three main types of counselling: Person-Centred, CBT and Psycho-dynamic. As an integrative counsellor, I am able to offer CBT as a way of working through any specific problem areas, as well as being able to offer Person Centred Therapy when facing deep emotional situations such as bereavement or loss.

I came to therapy through angel card readings and reiki healing. I trained for five years for my Diploma in Counselling, combined with a degree in Psychology and Literature, I do have an academic background and an interest in people and trying to make sense of our existence on the planet.

I also have many years experience of working with people using Angel Cards since 2000, Reiki healing since 2009 and I have been working as a fully qualified, private counsellor since 2017.

All counsellors are required to have Supervision. I personally attend Supervision once a month. If I need to talk about your session to a Supervisor, your identity will always remain confidential.

I am currently in training as a Supervisor and I am offering reduced rates to Supervisees.
