About me

My name is Dr Tamara Vaughan, of Mind Health Psychology. I am Chartered Counselling Psychologist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Psychological Society (BPS).

I have extensive training and experience facilitating therapeutic groups, offering assessments and individual therapy sessions in the private sector, the NHS, charities and community-based settings. At present, in addition to my private practice where I offer individual counselling and psychological therapy, I work as a Senior Counselling Psychologist in the NHS and as a Guest lecturer on a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

I am passionate about people’s ‘mind health’; whether that be working together to help you recover from psychological, emotional and relational difficulties or, ensuring that you are maintaining your general psychological well-being.

Following an initial meeting, we will work collaboratively to ensure that your specific therapeutic needs and goals are being achieved and that you feel empowered throughout the process.
