I am a registered Clinical Psychologist, which means that I am trained at doctoral level to deliver a range of evidence based interventions. I am integrative in my approach to understanding and supporting the management of difficulties. Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a First Class Honours degree in Psychology and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
I have worked clinically for over 8 years, providing emotional and psychological support to children, young people and adults with a range of difficulties.I work privately and within the public sector, delivering evidence-based interventions to clients from diverse backgrounds and remain committed to improving access to psychological therapies within the community. I have a specific interest in improving outcomes for Black and Minority Ethnic groups.
Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
Health and Care Professions Council
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
