Dr Szerenke Kovacs (Prof Doc HCPC BPS)
Considering the current climate and the difficulties that everyone is experiencing with the presence of Covid-19, I offer therapy sessions remotely, through phone, as well as online, through Skype, at a reduced cost. Feel free to contact me regarding this.
Over the years we all go through overwhelming life experiences. Usually we seek therapy because we feel challenged by these experiences. Even with the most supportive family and friends we can feel isolated and find it hard to share what is going on for us.
At these times, we might want to see a qualified professional, who is able to listen to us non-judgmentally, provide a safe, confidential place, where we can explore things that are important to us, help us find new avenues of being, and if needed, learn new tools and techniques to enhance our well-being.
I am an HCPC registered and British Psychological Society (BPS) Chartered Counselling Psychologist, Supervisor (Register of the Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors) and fully qualified Mindfulness Teacher.
In individual psychological therapy I work with adults and young people aged 16+. In some circumstances I can see young people who are under 16 years of age. Feel free to contact me regarding this.
I am an integrative practitioner, shaping my practice to clients’ needs, bringing together understandings derived from various therapeutic approaches, such as relational psychotherapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, cognitive- behavioural therapy and humanistic therapy. I aim to meet clients with respect, authenticity and supportive engagement.
To book an initial discussion over the phone regarding your needs and how I may be able to help, please email or call. I aim to respond to your inquiry within 24 hours.
