About me
I am a BACP Accredited Psycho-therapeutic Counsellor with experience in helping clients with a range of issues including but not limited to, stress and anxiety, relationship issues, work related concerns, grief, loss, depression, trauma, hormonal difficulties, and coping with life changes.
How can counselling help
Counselling aims to provide an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
It can help you
- feel listened to and understood
- get to know yourself better, and discover what you want in life
- explore and understand complex feelings and emotions
- recognise and address patterns or behaviours
- make changes or find ways to accept feelings
I use an Integrative approach and adapt my way of working to meet your needs. I aim to support you in a respectful way, where I hope you feel valued and understood.
I understand that beginning your journey in therapy can be daunting, and therapy can be challenging, but we will always work at your pace so that you feel safe. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
What to expect in an initial session
I will ask you some question to find out a bit more about out you, your lifestyle and what you would like to get out of our sessions.
This is also a chance for you find out more or to ask any questions about counselling therapy, or how we will work together.
I offer both short and long-term therapy. If you would like to book an appointment or would just like to find out more, please get in touch. I am happy to discuss and answer any questions you might have.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
