The model/My philosophy:
I am trained in the Waverley Integrative model of counselling this uses a framework that’s relational in its approach and emphasises the importance of the therapeutic relationship and adherence to the core conditions: Genuineness, unconditional acceptance and empathy.
The Waverley integrative framework can be described as a holistic approach that reflects on the client's history and all current circumstances, and on all core aspects of human functioning, relational, physical, spiritual, and existential issues by considering core needs each person has for security, Self-worth and significance.
I believe that you deserve a chance to be heard and to tell your story from your own perspective, its vital for you be able to find your own key for your way forward.
For those that you care about:
I have worked a lot with parents that have been separated from their children and have experience of working with children that have been separated from their parents and also reunited families.
I am knowledgeable in substance misuse and the complex way that this can become a part of people’s lives and have experience of the effects that this can have on individuals and their families.
My own understanding of recovery, be it emotional or otherwise, is that when space is created for someone to be able to feel heard and they will come to a place of self-understanding and discovery and will find a way forward for themselves.

When something is Synergistic, it means various parts are working together to produce an inhanced result. If youve just heard a Synergistic symphony, the musicians must have played very well together.
I have experienced this with counselling, That in the right environment change can happen and peace can be found. Whatever has happened in your life that has caused you to seek support. I admire your strength. The fact that you are looking means that you are already aware that there has to be a different way through this.
