Suzanne Curry Registered MBACP
Life can be challenging and difficult at times and when things are like this counselling can help in so many ways. It may be that there is something going on in your life currently and you need someone to listen and to help you explore what is happening or aspects from the past may need resolving.
Whatever is going on in your life whether it's infertility, anxiety, phobias, panic attacks, relationship issues, family issues, depression, work pressures, long term health issues or the loss of a loved one. Counselling gives you the opportunity to explore whatever is happening in your life in a safe, confidential, non judgemental space. I work in a integrative way using different aspects and forms of counselling to meet the needs of my clients.
In addition to my private practice I have worked for MIND the mental health charity and for Rape Crisis.
My client work has covered but is not limited to;
Sexual Abuse/Rape - Anxiety - Infertility - Bereavement - Panic attacks - Transgender - Confidence issues - Loss of identity - Problems at work such as bullying - OCD - Addiction
I work with clients both short term and long term. Together we will find what works best for you depending on what you need.
In our sessions we will look at what is going on for you in your life. My aim is that our counselling sessions will give you an understanding of yourself and enable you to make the changes you want to move forward.
I am a qualified and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and I adhere to the BACP Ethical framework in every aspect of my work with clients you can find out more about this on their website.
