About me
PLEASE NOTE THAT I CAN OFFER PHONE AND VIDEO COUNSELLING IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO LEAVE YOUR HOME FOR ANY REASON.
If you are finding the challenges of life overwhelming whether through bereavement, divorce, too much stress, depression, sadness, or anxiety, I can help you through these difficult times.
By offering a safe, confidential place to talk freely about your concerns in a way that is rarely possible with family or friends, I can help you work through your problems to enable you to move forwards positively towards a more fulfilled, healthier and happier life.
I work in Dulwich, Surrey - Guildford area - and Suffolk in private practice and am experienced in working with children and adults.
I can offer sessions in the 3 locations. There is obviously no restriction on location with phone and video counselling.
Please feel free to call or email to discuss any queries you might have. We can set up an initial session and talk about what it is you hope to get out of counselling. If you feel you would like to continue we can arrange to meet weekly or fortnightly for as long as you need.
As a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I abide by their ethical framework. My clients’ best interest is at the heart of the work I do. I am led by the needs of my client. I believe the key to successful therapy lies in the supportive, professional relationship between the client and the counsellor and always strive to develop genuine mutual trust and respect.

Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
