Susie Eldridge, Psychotherapist, Supervisor, Mental Health Trainer. BACP, UKCP.
Are you struggling with depression, anxiety, relationships or work related issues? Are you trying to solve problems yourself, or perhaps with the help of family and friends, yet still feeling stuck or misunderstood?
Then maybe it’s time to seek support.
There are times in life when we feel like we may need some guidance or mentoring from a professional. There can be tremendous value in talking through your ideas, problems and feelings with a therapist who has the experience, training and expertise to help with what you are going through.
Starting the process of individual counselling can be both empowering and daunting. For this reason, it is the client who sets the pace. Working as a team, we seek to gain biographical insight and confront obstacles to change. Developing the clients self awareness and skills can lead to more confident decision making, internal resilience and lasting solutions.
Working in private practice and with a range of organisations, my work is Integrative, meaning I integrate various models of therapy (Humanistic, CBT, Transactional Analysis and Psychodynamic) concepts to suit each clients individual needs.
Also an experienced trainer of mental health and wellbeing courses in the workplace, I offer bespoke training to fit the organisational needs. Ascertaining the goals of the company and tailoring the training to meet the participants individual learning styles, requirements and availability.
I design and deliver courses that help support smoother running organisations by reducing stress and absenteeism in the workplace. Aimed at companies who would like to empower employees to invest in their own well-being and improve their understanding around their own mental health. To learn coping strategies that help manage work, home and life stressors and build inner resilience.

Supervision & training
For counsellors looking for a supervisor, I believe supervision is about creating a healthy space where the supervisee can explore his or her work practice in a supportive, challenging, empathetic and contained environment.
