I hope I can help you find what you are looking for and help you make the most of your life...

I offer tailored private individual attention and support with therapy approaches suiting varied issues concerning Adults and Young People. My Humanistic Integrative skills and interventions drawn from models such as TA, CBT, Human Givens provide a customised and flexible approach to meet your unique personal therapy needs.

As well as private practice my work experience includes GP referred Primary Health Care counselling, Online counselling, and school-based counselling. An example of the issues I commonly work with include anger, stress, anxiety, depression, confidence and self-esteem, sensitivity, perfectionism, phobias, panic, addiction, styles of relating/communication/relationships, family issues, abuse, trauma, plus my special interest in bereavement work, (please see the list of other issues I work with below).

You are not alone with your problems - many people are experiencing similar situations, thoughts and feelings, but you are unique and experience your world in a unique way. I offer you tailored counselling therapy and guidance so you may share your worries and find a way forward in your life, so you may personally develop and thrive.

I understand you may be feeling apprehensive? - this can be natural. I offer a confidential service in a private and comfortable environment where you can feel safe to be yourself and explore your worries, whatever they may be. Short or long term therapy can be an empowering and often surprising life-enriching journey which can serve you well in the future and bring about many life-changing benefits.

Clients often report that counselling has changed their life.. and that our sessions have brought them useful insight surrounding troublesome thoughts, emotions and behaviour, or new clarity, perspectives and options. This development ultimately brings about the benefit of increased confidence and autonomy in life. It's never too late to get help and enjoy the benefits of a tailor-made counselling experience.

Your thoughts?  How important are you?.. to yourself, and others? I understand that at a difficult time, feelings of low confidence can make asking for help difficult or think that ‘you should just get on with it’ or that working with a counsellor is self-indulgent, a weakness or an unwarranted expense? Perhaps consider the implications to your health and life situation and how counselling can positively help re-focus and enhance your life very quickly.

I hope I have the privilege of working with you... Susi
