Hi, I'm Susannah, I'm a fully qualified, insured counsellor and registered member of the BACP working online and in Epsom, Surrey.
I provide a relaxed, friendly and non judgemental environment in which clients may safely explore and work through issues that may be proving problematic, concerning or stressful. I offer both online and telephone counselling sessions.
I am a person-centred existential therapist, which means as the client you are always in control of your own therapy. I will listen to what you would like to achieve from our time together and will be guided by you at all times.
I will support and facilitate your exploration of the areas you would like to look at, ensuring your well-being and autonomy throughout. Our time together will be unique to you with therapy focused on meeting your needs and working towards the goals/desired outcome YOU wish to achieve.
I work with clients 16 years and above across a whole range of areas including:
Self-worth and confidence related problems, stress, panic and generalised anxiety, depression, rejection and abandonment, eating disorders and body dysmorphia, domestic violence, sexual abuse, divorce and family issues, relationship difficulties, redundancy and work-related concerns.
I specialise in identity and personal image related issues, and currently I help with the wide ranging effects corona virus and lock down are having on our lives.
Please feel free to call or email me in the first instance to discuss your particular needs or ask any questions you may have. I offer a free initial telephone session and all contact is confidential. I look forward to hearing from you.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
