There can be times in life when people turn to counselling or psychotherapy for that extra bit of support or understanding.
Things might be happening that seem particularly confusing or overwhelming.
You might feel stuck in patterns that are unhelpful or you find limiting.
Relationships with other people, at home, at work or in general, might be troubling you.
You might not feel too great about aspects of yourself/your life and feel that you need to make some changes.
Perhaps you’re looking for a space that is otherwise hard to find – somewhere to reflect, to feel heard and understood.
Engaging in therapy can be challenging but rewarding. I am professionally trained to help people explore areas in their life that need attention in a safe, non-judgemental and facilitative way.
At an initial consultation session, we can establish whether and how therapy would help you right now. There will be time to ask any questions you might have and we will discuss practicalities including payment and find a mutually convenient regular time to meet. This gives you chance to find out what's involved - there is no commitment unless you think we will work well together.
I work with individuals on a short or long-term basis. My practice is guided by the ethics of professional bodies, the BACP and UKCP.
