Therapeutic Approach
With 17 years as a psychotherapist and 20 years of experience working with groups, I have observed how difficult it can be to put some experiences into words. That’s why my somatic psychotherapy approach starts with what the body expresses. The body holds our history and communicates who we are through gestures and movement. By paying attention to our bodily sensations, we can access valuable information about ourselves, helping us better understand the relationships, needs, and behaviour patterns we’ve developed.
By integrating body, thoughts, and emotions, I support clients in overcoming challenges such as anxiety, depression, dissociation, isolation, lack of purpose in life, traumatic experiences, and relationship difficulties, guiding them toward meaningful change and a fuller, more authentic and connected life.
Getting Started: Feel free to email me to arrange an initial online session. This first meeting is an essential step in our work together, allowing us to see if my approach aligns with your needs and to set the direction for our therapeutic journey.

Additional information
A percentage of my patients are on a low-cost rate. It is crucial to me that psychotherapy is accessible and not a luxury. Those who pay the full rate are integral to my practice, enabling me to offer low-cost options. In cases where people cannot afford individual sessions, I offer group sessions each week at a much lower rate.

Movement is the basis of life
Movement psychotherapy is a psychotherapeutic approach that utilises body movement to explore, analyse and express what happens in people’s inner world.
It is a gentle and powerful practice that helps integrate aspects that have been ignored or repressed as a product of societal, educational or oppressive experiences. Together, psychotherapist and patient, we will build a safe and confidential space. In this psychotherapeutic process, patients can express their feelings and explore new ways of relating to themselves and the world.
Each session is different depending on the preferences, needs and mood of each patient. It can be entirely verbal or through movement. Most sessions usually involve a combination of talk, movement and creative therapies.
This approach can especially contribute to reducing symptoms of anxiety, depression, stress and insomnia. It is also recommended for the treatment of eating disorders or traumatic experiences (e.g. childhood sexual abuse, gender violence, violence in general). All people can benefit from this psychotherapeutic approach, regardless of their mobility.
