Susan Ross MBACP(Accred) BA (Hons)Counsellor and Psychotherapist SW London
Anxiety? Relationship issues? Depression? Life changes? Stress?
Life changes trigger many difficult issues. For example the birth of a baby, changing job, couple and relationship issues, loss .... at such times it can help to reach out and talk things through in a safe confidential space.
My commitment is to offer a safe space where I will listen to you non-judgementally, working collaboratively with you to explore your deepest thoughts and feelings. Talking it through with a professional can help you to overcome and change unhelpful and negative behaviours. In the process you can start to reassess and to unravel whatever is troubling you, so enabling you to find alternative ways of dealing with it.
Client responses illustrate how empowering this experience can be. Some talk about carrying a heavy burden into the session and that the process of talking with a professional therapist allows them to feel able finally to put the burden down.
Having been integratively trained, I can draw on a range of therapies including CBT, EFT for couples, psychodynamic, and mindfulness practice. My experience as a psychotherapist has taught me that no one approach suits everyone as each client is unique.
I work with both individuals and couples on an open-ended or time limited basis and have both daytime and evening availability. I offer the first session without commitment to further sessions.
