We are a group of professionally trained Counsellors, from various churches based around the New Forest, providing services to clients from Totton in the east to Christchurch in the west.
Our service has been working in the New Forest for over 11 years and offers safe, secure and highly confidential counselling from supportive and empathetic counsellors, at a range of venues. A number of churches across the Forest make counselling premises available to us, which helps reduce our costs. The counselling venue will depend on various factors, such as convenience of travel, availability of counsellor, and issues of confidentiality. The service is open to those of all faiths or none.
Training, qualifications & experience
All of our counsellors are either accredited with the Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC), or the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapisis (BACP), or working towards accreditation. They each receive regular individual supervision, as well as peer group supervision and are covered by Professional Indemnity insurance. As an organisation we are affiliated to the Assocaiation of Christian Counsellors.
The Charities Trustees are chosen from various denominations in the New Forest and the service is also supported by medical and legal professionals.
