About me

You may be feeling overwhelmed at the moment, life may seem difficult, you are unsure of what steps to take next in your life. You may be experiencing feelings of anxiety or depression and are looking for help with managing and understanding these. Or you may just feel you need to talk to someone about something that currently doesn’t feel right or is worrying you.

I believe that by providing a space for you to be listened to without judgement, where you feel both heard and understood, I can help you to find answers, more understanding, or the confidence that you seek to move forward.

As an integrative therapist I adapt my work to best meet the needs of each client and their unique situation. I adopt a humanistic perspective, focusing on you and your experiences, past and present, rather than a symptom or specific psychological problem. Working together we will try to achieve your goals or find the understanding you seek in order to move forward in your life.

I would love to hear from you if you feel that I am the right therapist for you, or if you just have any further questions, please also get in touch.

Taking the next step:

1. Call, text or email me and we can set up an introductory phone call (if I'm not available at the time, just leave a brief message and I'll get back to you).

2. During this call we will discuss your concerns and what you're hoping to get from counselling, also making sure that I am able to help you. [This initial session would take c. 20 minutes and is free of charge]

3. If you're happy to continue we will then arrange for us to commence therapy and decide on the time and place (for face-to-face).

I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
