About me
ACE Therapeutic Services offers high quality bespoke therapeutic support for adults, children and young people that promotes positive emotional and psychological health and well-being by providing solution focused, strengths based support and intervention. The service is delivered in a needs led manner that is informed by the requirements identified by the client. Service provision is flexible and tailored to the needs of the individual or family with respect to their unique circumstances. The service operates in a manner that lessens barriers to accessing the correct support enabling the client to reach a positive destination and realise their full potential.

Training, qualifications & experience
I am an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. I have a degree in Psychology and a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Groupwork from the Centre of Therapy in Glasgow. I am BABCP registered, fully insured and hold a current PVG certificate. I receive regular supervision from a BABCP accredited supervisor. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work and abide by their code of ethics.
I have over 12 years of experience in therapeutic work with children and families as well as several years in training and group work.
Member organisations
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

I have several years experience in therapeutic work particularly with children and families. I have covered most areas in my career and have worked all areas above. With speciality in attachment and childhood related difficulties, gender based violence and parenting.
