Llanelli Counselling & Telephone Therapy Service - Susi De Lacey MBACP (Reg)
How are you today? Are you scared about Coronavirus or feeling overwhelmed, anxious or depressed? Maybe you can't sleep?Has someone close to you died or is seriously ill? Maybe caring responsibilities or family issues are difficult.
Due to the Coronavirus situation clients can now discuss their problems via the telephone or online. We then use creative techniques based on Adlerian Theory and CBT to help you overcome the issues, develop self-encouragement and motivation. I focus on looking at how your birth order, early recollections and perceptions growing up affect your coping strategies and patterns of behaviour in adulthood. This understanding can help you find better ways of dealing with difficult situations, feel stronger and healthier again.
I am a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, registered with the BACP. I've worked as an NHS Counsellor and as the Counselling Co-ordinator for MIND. I became a counsellor & psychotherapist to help people who find it difficult to cope or that feel overwhelmed, anxious and depressed but are worried about asking for help. Together we can work on increasing your confidence, self-esteem and coping strategies with encouragement and support. Make that step. Call 01554701755 or text 07476555338
Training, qualifications & experience
After a career in law, I spent 10 years helping people with learning disabilities or mental health issues access support from local authorities, health professionals and charitable organisations. I am a fully qualified experienced Counsellor & Psychotherapist and a Registered Member of the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists ( BACP) and also of The Adlerian Society Institute for Individual Psychology.
