About me

I am an experienced professional having worked over 25 years in the field of criminal justice and mental health. In 2007 I qualified from the Manchester Institute of Psychotherapy and specialise in Transactional Analysis, in addition to other methods which include psychodynamic interpersonal therapy. I held a private practice for 7 years before being seconded to the NHS to develop and lead an award winning mental health recovery project. I believe passionately that every person has the capacity to change and hope is the key. I will help you find your path and guide you on your journey of self discovery.

I am familiar in working with

  • anxiety,
  • depression,
  • couples, relationship difficulties
  • childhood trauma,
  • low self esteem.

That you can expect

You can contact me either by telephone or email. I will arrange to have a brief telephone conversation with you about what  is troubling you.

Once we have had a brief talk. We will meet for a free one to one (about half an hour) and if after this session we are both in agreement that we can work together, we will agree to a number of one to one sessions and draw up a contract to work together.

I charge £40 per session which lasts for 55 minutes. My sessions are confidential.

I am a robust therapist offering an empathic and non- judgemental approach.

Now is the time to re decide your life choices, bring your past to therapy and leave with a future.
