Susan Aspinall Bsc (hons)
At this time when we are all in an unprecedented situation, anxiety may be high.
We are all adjusting to a new normal, at work, home and with our families and friends. Relationships can be strained and reassessment of your life choices and goals may need exploration, and If you have got as far as looking at this page you have already decided that you would like to at least explore whether counselling would be right for you.
At this time, when some are self isolating and we are all still social distancing I am offering online counselling through Zoom, it is easy to use downloaded as an app on your phone or preferably lap top, it is a secure site and maintains confidentiality so important to the counselling relationship.
I still work within my personal counselling space, and you can hopefully find a quiet secluded space in which to allow time to engage fully with the process.
Counselling can help you to clarify situations, it is often useful to be able to talk through whatever may be causing you anxiety, or a situation, work, or personal that is creating an imbalance in your life.
Speaking with someone who is non judgemental, and can listen to you, in a safe comfortable environment, can help you to see more clearly, and importantly, help you to feel more in control of your own life and situation.
Sometimes, we all feel lost or lonely , even when we may be surrounded by supportive family or friends, a listening ear who is separate from your day to day life , can help you find the way through, and clarify how you want to go forward.
I provide a safe, confidential service, adhering to the BACP ethical codes and practice.
I have been in private practice as a counsellor for over 17 years now , and have worked with a large number of clients, young and old, male and female, on many diverse issues, relationships, depression, divorce, stress, anxiety, phobias and work related issues are just a few.
It may be that we just work together for a few sessions, maybe for a long time, it depends on you as an individual and your needs.
It is important to find the right counsellor for you, someone you can feel at ease with, and really listened to . If you would like to have a free 30 minute appointment to see whether we can work together please give me a call and we can arrange an initial free assessment by telephone , there is no obligation to continue and it might be that another agency or a different type of therapy would be more suitable, so I can point you in the right direction.
Please feel free to call me on 07771590810 or email at email@example.com, to arrange your free consulation .

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

I work from a ground floor property with easy access and parking.
My practice is based not far from the surrey/Hampshire/Berkshire border close to the M3 , so has easy access for all three counties.
I understand with busy lives sometime people can not make a face to face appointment every week, maybe due to working away or family commitments, and this is when Zoom or telephone consultations can be invaluable, after the initial counselling relationship is formed.
