Life events can sometimes catch us from nowhere without warning leaving a feeling of bewilderment and distress, that is when counselling could be vital support for wellbeing to restore a sense of trust in our own decision-making.
I am an integrative counsellor, which means I use a combined approach of different theories.
Your story is unique and personal to you. Everyone has a different way of being in the world – my aim is to work towards meeting your individual personal needs.
I offer you a safe confidential space where you can be heard. The therapeutic relationship between you and I the counsellor is unconditional and judgement free. This gives you the freedom to explore your assumptions, worries, fears, memories and wishes, dreams and goals as part of the work to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, to make sense of what you feel is happening in your life right now and understanding how the past has affected your present.
Therapy gives you the space to express your authentic self without worrying about the approval of others. As your therapist, I am here to provide that for you and walk with you on your journey so you can feel heard. Having the freedom to articulate your thoughts and emotions can bring you a great amount of peace, making way for burdens of the past to become less heavy and manageable therefore paving the way to more enriching and fulfilling life.
