About me

Hello,

I'm Sureyya and I specialise in working with women and teenagers - who struggle with anxiety and feeling not 'good enough'. I have a deep passion for helping sensitive, high-achieving individuals break free from people-pleasing, perfectionism, and chronic overwhelm. If you often put others' needs before your own, feel like you're never quite "enough," or find yourself running on empty—you're not alone, and there is a way through.

My approach is warm, and deeply grounded in nervous system healing. I’ve walked this path myself—a former teacher of Psychology, navigating chronic fatigue, and the pressure to keep everyone else happy.  Now, I support others to release those old survival strategies and reclaim their energy, boundaries, and true selves.

How I Work

I work integratively, combining talking therapy with somatic (body-based) tools, inner child work, and nervous system regulation. My signature R.I.S.E method—Recognise, Integrate, Stabilise, Empower—helps clients make lasting change from the inside out. Together, we’ll gently explore the reason behind your behaviours, calm your inner critic, and build the safety and confidence you need to feel in charge of your own life.

What I Can Help With

Anxiety & emotional overwhelm

Burnout & chronic fatigue (CFS/ME)

People pleasing and Perfectionism

Low self-worth & inner critic work

Childhood trauma / complex PTSD

Boundaries, identity & self-expression

Parenting as a cycle-breaker

Feeling “too much” or not enough

Who I Work With

I specialise in supporting deep-feeling individuals—often caregivers, creatives, cycle-breakers, and high-functioning women as well as teenagers who feel stuck beneath the surface. If you’ve always been the “strong/smart one,” the “fixer,” or the one who just keeps going, this space is for you to feel seen, held, and supported.

Next Steps

Therapy with me is a chance to come home to yourself. I offer a warm, non-judgemental space.

You can reach out for a free initial consultation—I’d be honoured to support you. Simply email me to arrange a free discovery call - I'd love to hear from you and explore how I can support you.

I currently have availability on Tuesdays and Wednesdays .

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
