Choosing the right therapist involves finding someone you feel you can trust and work with. It is also important that the person has undertaken a thorough and rigorous training, and is appropriately registered with the relevant professional bodies.
I am an experienced Psychotherapist and Counsellor. I offer both short term and open ended psychotherapy and counselling. Depending on your needs this will be discussed when we first meet. Sessions are 50 minutes long, usually once or twice a week at the same time every week. You do not need to be referred by your GP.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Postgrad Diploma in Psychotherapy & Counselling from WPF Therapy.
In addition to my private practice I have clinical experience in various mental health settings: having worked as a counsellor for various employee assistance programmes, community counselling services and therapeutic agencies.
