About me

I am a Therapeutic Counsellor with 7 years post- qualifying experience, working with children from age 8 as well as adults. My specialism is with secondary school aged children, adolescents and young people.

I provide a warm, empathic, non-judgemental and confidential space to safely explore and move through any of life's difficulties, transitions and challenges that you may be experiencing.

My approach is Integrative, which means I combine various therapy models to suit your individual needs, which can include creative approaches and relaxation techniques to help with stress, anxiety and panic.

I offer remote counselling using video calls, telephone or email to suit your needs.

I am also able to offer some home visits within my locality by arrangement.

I understand that taking the first step to find emotional support can feel daunting.

I suggest an initial 15-20 minute meeting by phone or video call to discuss what's on your mind and how we might work together. This gives you the opportunity to decide if I am the right Counsellor for you. There is no charge for this.

Through the process of our work together, positive change can occur, which helps to build your resilience and promote overall wellbeing.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
