Sue Skarratts BA(Hons) MBACP
Hello my name is Sue and I would like to introduce myself. I have worked in many professional settings facilitating a close public relationship with clients and customers. I am a fully qualified Counsellor /Psychotherapist practising from a person-centred approach. My therapy allows emotions to be explored in a non-directive, non-judgemental way which allows my client's space to process issues that may be disrupting daily functioning.
As a member of The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) I practise from home within a safe and confidential environment. Being a member of the BACP I am bound by and adhere to the associations code of ethical conduct, for my clients' safety and protection. To practise as a member, I am also required to have regular supervision ensuring my practise and quality of therapy continues on a professional level.
My work is with adults and young people who have suffered loss, bereavement, trauma, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, abuse. Alongside my practise, I work for a charity as a Bereavement counsellor and referral secretary. I am also a specialist mentor for University students giving support to mental and emotional issue.
As a Counsellor I continue with personal development, which is in accordance with my BACP membership condition.

Commitment to therapy will not be expected at this session, the session is to provide a better understanding to your well-being and what you would like to achieve from therapy.
My fee will be £35 per hour for a one to one counselling, payable on the day of therapy. I will consider a reduced fee for students and clients on a low income.
