Sue Jones MA, MBACP
Congratulations on taking the first steps needed to start living your life. You don't need a plan, just sit, breathe, trust in me, let go and see what happens.
If you are reading this you may have decided to go for counselling and are wondering which counsellor to choose. I am a fully qualified and experienced person-centred counsellor working in a safe and confidential dedicated space in my home. When you ring me for an appointment I can usually see you within 5 working days.
How can counselling help?
I know that just to decide to come for counselling can be a huge step...So if you are still at the stage where you are wondering whether counselling is for you I hope my website will help you to make an informed decision.
These are just a few of the issues that I can help with:
- relationship problems
- stress or burnout
- seeking self knowledge
- loss and bereavement
- problems with mood
- suffering from any kind of abuse
- lack of confidence
- problems with alcohol (either you or someone close)
Something that is worrying you enough to stop you getting on with your life in the way you want can often be helped by talking with a good counsellor.
If you are still not sure or if you have a question which my website does not answer you are welcome to ring or email me. Remember that the best way to find out whether counselling can help you is to try it!
I work using a person centred approach offering safe, supportive and compassionate counselling. I run my private counselling practice alongside my education business which includes training counsellors to Diploma level, including mentoring and academic tutoring. I also do training therapy for counsellors in training.
What to expect
If you would like to come and see me, the first session is for us to meet and see whether you feel comfortable and are able to have some trust in me. We will explore what brings you here and decide how we will work together.
I offer day and evening appointments on weekdays. I can also offer Sunday afternoons by special arrangement.
