Dr Stuart G Gibson
85 Wimpole Street
I am an experienced, qualified and accredited clinical psychologist committed to providing psychological therapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental manner. I can work with individuals and couples on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period.
I can provide support to people who are struggling with life’s troubles and transitions, such as low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, work problems, grief and bereavement. Psychological therapy for improving how you can cope with anxiety, panic and depressed mood are other services that I can provide.
I can also provide support to people who are struggling with a variety of chronic health conditions, such as chronic pain, cancer and fatigue as I have worked in medical settings for more than 20 years. My current specialism is within sexual health, so I can work with people who are experiencing sexual difficulties and concerned about their sexual well-being.
Our first meeting will be an assessment session where we can discuss your issues that are bringing you to therapy and explore what you might want to accomplish in therapy. In this first session, I can discuss how I work in therapy so we can decide if I am the best therapist for you and your circumstances.
