Steven James Counselling
Steven James Practice
52a Poole Road
Steven James Counselling helps you improve the quality of your life by assisting you to overcome your problems. We offer a welcoming, safe and supportive environment to all.
Our founder Dennis Schroder set up this charity in 2005 in memory of his son Steven, who passed away at the age of 20. Steven was severely disabled with cerebral palsy and also suffered from acute epilepsy.
Since our beginning we have grown considerably, now offering a team of highly qualified professional counsellors with many years of experience; that can work with a wide variety of difficulties and issues. We have a strong reputation, which is shown in the successful partnership working with local government and national charities.
Our accredited counsellors have several years of experience and are members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Our approach is about supporting you to find your own answers.
Integrative counselling is a term used to describe an integration of many theories and is not tied to any single approach. This supports our view that no single approach works for every client so we create one together that works for you.
Any form of counselling or therapy is confidential; there is no discrimination on the basis of race, colour, physical disability or sexual orientation.
You are welcome to call us to discuss how best we can support you.
Training, qualifications & experience
