About me
I am a highly experienced Counselling Psychologist with over 25 years of experience providing support to adults in both NHS and Private Healthcare.
I work with a broad range of psychological problems and am particularly interested in helping people with Anxiety, OCD and Phobias, Stress, Alcohol-related difficulties, and negative/over thinking.
I am now working online with video conferencing or phone sessions if required.
I am not prescriptive about the number of sessions required, I rely on your feedback in the form of session-by-session reviews.
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained at The University of Surrey (Counselling Psychology), I qualified in 2001 with CPsychol (Chartered Psychologist), and HCPC Practitioner Psychologist status.
I have lengthy experience in NHS Adult Mental Health Services and a Private Healthcare Clinic in Central London.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
