About me

I am an accredited member of British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapy, the lead body for the regulation of Cognitive Behaviour Therapists in the UK. I am also a state registered Art Therapist with the Health & Care Professions Council, the statutory body for the regulation for health care professionals in the country and I am a member of the British Association of Art Therapists.

I have extensive skills providing individual CBT for people with depression, anxiety, stress related conditions, work-related stress, obsessive compulsive disorders, assertiveness issues, anger issues, relationship problems and self-esteem. I integrate Mindfulness practice into my therapeutic approach along with the more usual CBT practices.

I have a special interest in treating people with insomnia and sleep difficulties using CBT approaches. I consider good sleep to be vital to physical and mental well-being, learning to improve your sleep can be the first step to feeling better.

I have many years experience of delivering CBT in group formats for anxiety, depression, insomnia, behavioural activation, mindfulness and relaxation.

I have experience of working with people across a wide age range from adolescents to older adults, who have had a broad range of mental health issues (including severe and acute mental health problems).
