South Kent Counselling and Psychotherapy
FOLKESTONE HYTHE SANDGATE ST MARGARET'S-AT-CLIFFE
If you are thinking about having therapy, it is often quite difficult to know how to find a therapist. As a starting point, the therapist needs to have trained and qualified with a credible organisation. They should be accredited or registered with an established and recognised regulatory body and adhere to the professional standards and codes of practice of that organisation.
South Kent Counselling & Psychotherapy (SKCP) was formed in the year 2011. We are a group of highly trained, qualified and experienced practitioners with varying backgrounds, including clinical work in the NHS and private practice.
All our members have undergone rigorous trainings which demanded extensive supervised clinical work and taking an in-depth look at ourselves through lengthy personal therapy.
We undertake continuing professional development and are registered with and follow the ethical principles of one or more of the major registering bodies, The British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP), the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and The British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC).
SKCP practitioners work from their own private consulting rooms and are based in the following locations: Sandgate CT20; Folkestone CT20; St. Margaret’s-At-Cliffe CT15; Hythe CT21.
