Sorcha Phillips - BA (Hons) Cert. Ed MBACP
I guess you are searching this directory because you’re seeing signs in your life that things need to change. A past experience may have resurfaced causing you pain, a current situation or relationship might be leaving you feeling overwhelmed, out of control and wondering what you can do to change things for the better. I know it is daunting, but you have taken the first step.
My name is Sorcha and I am an Integrative Psychotherapist registered with the BACP. Being trained integratively means that I recognise that a ‘one size fits all’ approach to therapy doesn’t always work. We are all unique and all experience difficulties in different ways. I can tailor my approach to you, acknowledging what you have been through, where you are and where you want to get.
As humans we have a drive to heal but with the best of intentions it isn’t always easy. Sometimes when emotional wounds are deep it can be hard to recognise and access the resources to heal. Pain can feel like it is taking over your life and whole being.
I can stand alongside you and help you reconnect with your emotional strength. We can work to manage and overcome the negative emotions that are currently crying out for your attention. We can work together to help you find your place in the world again, with a greater sense of emotional wellbeing and peace of mind.
