About me
I am a HCPC and BAAT registered psychotherapist working with children, teenagers and adults.
My approach is supportive and collaborative, with the aim of creating a safe space for you to explore whatever feelings or issues that bring you to therapy. Often, emotions might be difficult to express in words, so art therapy allows for the use of creative materials, alongside talking, as a way of communicating our experience. You might choose to interweave talking and art-making, or just talk in sessions. You don't need any artistic skills and there is no pressure to use the art materials.
I have a wide range of experience including working with emotional difficulties, long-term illness, recovery, bereavement and palliative care. Issues I have worked with include: anxiety and panic, perfectionism, anger, depression, grief, suicidal ideation, body image and gender identity, attachment and relational issues, C/PTSD, sexual abuse, BPD and personality disorders.
My private practice takes place in South East London in a quiet studio setting.
I also offer online therapy and supervision via Zoom.
I work with a psychodynamic approach and my practice is also informed by existential and compassion-based theory. Starting therapy is a huge step and I will support you through this process, including addressing any anxieties and thoughts about what you would like to gain from our sessions. I believe therapy can be transformational, help us heal from past patterns and bring a greater sense of choice into our lives.
If you have any sensory or access needs please let me know and we can discuss how best to support these in our sessions.
I offer an initial telephone consultation free of charge.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
