About me
I am passionate about supporting and empowering people to overcome life’s obstacles. My experience has allowed me the privilege of working closely with those facing unexpected and serious life events, either for themselves or those close to them. Often this has been as a result of physical health issues, neurological conditions, life stage transitions, loss or traumatic events; resulting in understandable distress and overwhelm for the person.
I provide the opportunity to truly hear your story, understand how your experiences have influenced your life, discovering options for your next steps and a guide to your goals for therapy.
People can naturally feel apprehensive coming to therapy, taking those first steps into the unknown with a new person. However, know that if you choose to go on that journey together with me, I will provide a non-judgmental, collaborative relationship, where trust can grow, and you will feel empowered to make positive changes in your life.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully accredited and registered Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 16-years of qualified experience supporting people who are struggling with emotional and psychological distress. I provide a safe, therapeutic space to explore difficult experiences from the past, challenges in the present or fears for the future.
I tailor the intervention to your individual needs, collaboratively agreeing goals and integrating evidence-based approaches to match with your aims for the therapy journey.
I have completed studies in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR), integrating the most effective interventions to meet your needs. I remain informed by relational approaches and am trained in Clinical Neuropsychology.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
