About me

I am an integrative counsellor and coach, experienced in working with a range of complex issues and in challenging situations.

My approach is collaborative, dynamic and holistic. I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to help you explore your inner thoughts and feelings and support you in times of transition, distress and emotional need.

I believe that we all have the right to be heard and seen and should experience the freedom to live authentic lives of connection, meaning and joy. Life is a journey of discovery but sometimes we get stuck along the way and it can be hard to explore challenging feelings and emotions. At this moment, it’s important to remember you are not alone.

I believe that all of the answers to your questions are within you and that we each have the capacity to change given the opportunity and space to do so.

During our time together, we will focus on what is most important to you. Through building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and openness, we will create a space to reflect and explore, examine existing patterns and beliefs, bring awareness to your strengths and resources, and develop techniques and strategies to help to achieve your personal goals and bring about positive changes in your life and in your relationships.

Training, qualifications & experience

Alongside being a BACP registered therapist and coach I have been working in the field of personal development, authentic communication and leadership for many years, primarily working on environmental issues in civil society, business and political contexts around the world. I am passionate about social justice and climate justice issues and the links between public health, the environment and climate change. I am the UK coordinator for a transatlantic leadership programme and an ambassador for a UK education and social mobility charity.

** I am able to provide individual/group sessions on climate anxiety (eco-anxiety) and nature therapy sessions.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
